Kong June Hon (“Mr. Kong”) a Malaysian, male, aged 40, was appointed to the Board as Independent and Non-Executive Director of the Company on 17 January 2019. He was also appointed as the Chairman of the Company’sAudit Committee on 1st March 2019, and the Company’s Nomination and Remuneration Committee on 17 January 2019.

Mr. Kong is a Fellow member of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (“ACCA”) in the United Kingdom and a member of Malaysian Institute of Accountants.
He has more than 20 years of audit experience in audit firm with big four and medium firm. He is currently a partner in a medium audit firm.
Save for Mpire Global Berhad, he does not sit on the board of directors of any other public companies and listed companies.

Currently, Mr. Kong holds 396,000 ordinary shares in the Company. Mr. Kong does not have any family relationship with any director and/or major shareholders nor any conflict of interest and/or potential conflict of interest, including any interest in any competing business with Mpire Global Berhad or its subsidiaries. He has no convictions for any offences over the past 5 years except for traffic offences. He has never been imposed with any public sanction or penalty by the relevant regulatory bodies during the financial year ended 31 December 2023.
